The Trapstop is designed with usefulness in mind. A schedule 40 fitting can be glued over the entire upper part. If the Trapstop is damaged near the top, the damaged part can be cut off and a sch. 40 coupling can be glued over it. It can be shortened from the top if the installation is shallow. A sch. 40 cleanout can then be installed.
It can also be installed in a sch. 40 fitting with the use of a bushing on the small end. |
